ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Amanda

Amanda Wortman has been a proud Cabarrus County resident for nearly two decades. As a mother of five, she understands firsthand that no two children learn the same way, and that our schools must be prepared to support all students.

Amanda is running for the Cabarrus County School Board because she believes every student deserves opportunity, whether their path leads to college, the workforce, the military, or skilled trades. Too often, essential programs are threatened or cut, leaving students who do not plan to attend college overlooked. Amanda is committed to protecting and strengthening career and technical education, workforce development, and alternative learning pathways so every student can graduate prepared for real life.

Parents, educators, and the community deserve a real voice in the decisions that affect their schools. Amanda is committed to ensuring school policies are transparent, safety plans are proactive, and community input is not only welcomed but truly valued. Strong schools are built through collaboration, accountability, and leadership that listens.

Strong schools build strong communities!
